DUBBO FARMERS’ MARKET
ATTENTION TO ALL LOCAL SCHOOLS
Are you looking to be supported and to support your local community?
Here’s an opportunity too good to miss.
The Dubbo Farmers’ Market is gearing itself up to have a stall available to local schools. Each school will be able to take a turn selling locally made fresh scones and muffins which will be pre-ordered and ready to sell at each market. The schools will be able to use this opportunity to not only get themselves out and about in our local community but will also be a good opportunity to fundraise, taking profits back to their school at the end of each market.
ATTENTION SCHOOL CHILDREN
Wanting to earn some extra pocket money?
You’ve heard that you need to eat 2 fruit and 5 vege serves a day BUT did you know your could grow at least some of these yourselves, at home or at school?
The Dubbo Farmers’ Market will offer you a free space at the market to sell your home or school grown produce. Talk to your parents, grandparents or teachers about whether you could turn some of that green grass into a productive garden giving you a chance to learn about healthy eating, horticulture, running a business and customer relations.
